1What the service is and what it is not
This site offers three tools — face reading, the reply helper and the compatibility report — together with the articles in the Blog section.
What this site provides is a cultural and entertainment information service built on traditional face reading and Chinese astrology. Every result, suggestion, score and line of text is an opinion offered for reference within the scope of traditional culture. It is not a scientific conclusion, it carries no predictive force, and it constitutes professional advice of no kind — including but not limited to medical, psychological, legal, marital, financial and investment advice.
This site promises no outcome. It does not promise, among other things, that you will win someone over, get a relationship back, meet your true match or improve your fortune, nor that a reading will match what actually comes to pass.
2Your responsibilities
In using this site, you undertake:
- that you are at least 18 years old, or have the agreement of your legal guardian;
- that any photo you submit is of yourself, or that you have the clear agreement of the person in it. Uploading someone else's photo without their agreement is a responsibility you carry yourself;
- that you will upload nothing unlawful, nothing involving minors, and nothing pornographic, violent or infringing on the rights of others;
- that you will not use a result from this site to harass, threaten, humiliate or discriminate against anyone, or as grounds for doing them harm;
- that you will not use automated programs to scrape, crawl or stress-test this site in bulk, or try to get around any access limit;
- that you will not hold out a result from this site as a professional assessment, a psychological evaluation or legal advice.
Any decision you make on the strength of a result from this site is yours alone, with everything that follows from it. Where a major life choice is involved, let your own judgement lead, and consult a professional in the relevant field where that is needed.
3Limits of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- results are provided «as is», with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to their accuracy, completeness or fitness for a purpose;
- this site is not liable for any indirect loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including emotional distress, a change in a relationship, a lost opportunity or time spent;
- where force majeure, a network fault, an interruption at a third-party service or system maintenance suspends the service or leaves data in an abnormal state, this site bears no liability in damages, though it will do its best to put things back;
- this site may carry links to third-party websites, and this site is not responsible for third-party content.
Should this site be found liable in damages, the total is capped at the amount you actually paid for the service in question.
4Payment and refunds
Some features on this site are paid, and the price is shown plainly on the ordering page:
- Reply Helper completely free, no limit on how often you use it, no registration;
- Face Reading ¥9.9 per reading;
- Compatibility Report ¥9.9 per report.
Payment is made by scanning a WeChat Pay or Alipay QR code. Because what this site delivers is digital content generated on the spot and delivered once, a reading counts as delivered the moment it is generated, and a refund will not be given as a matter of course.
A refund may still be asked for in the cases below, and we will look into it and act:
- payment went through but, for a reason on our side, no result was generated at all;
- a duplicate payment;
- the result generated is plainly incomplete, or does not match the item bought.
«I am not happy with the result» and «I do not think it is accurate» fall outside the scope of a refund — that follows from the nature of the service set out in section 1, so please be sure you can accept it before you pay. Send a refund request through Contact, with the time and the amount of the payment.
5Intellectual property
The page design, text, Blog articles, image assets, code and brand marks of this site (including «AngelVow», its Chinese name 天使誓言, and the marks used across the site) are owned by this site or used under proper licence.
A reading you generate for yourself is yours to keep, to screenshot and to pass on to friends. But you may not copy this site's articles or result templates in bulk for commercial use, nor republish them with the source marks stripped out.
6Changes to these terms, and governing law
These terms may be updated as features are adjusted or regulations change. When they are, the «last updated» date at the top of this page is changed, and anything significant is flagged prominently on the site. If you go on using the site once a change has taken effect, you are taken to accept the new version.
The formation, validity and interpretation of these terms, and the resolution of disputes under them, are governed by the law of the People's Republic of China. Where a dispute arises between the parties, it should first be settled amicably; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before the competent people's court in the place where the operator of this site is located.
If part of these terms is found invalid, the remainder stands.
